How YOU can be involved

Prayer requests for 2008

  • For Lisa and others in teaching and leadership positions to be faithful in serving God and the Deaf and to remember that this ministry belongs to God, He is drawing the Deaf into His Kingdom and that all glory belongs to Him!
  • For fellow believers to draw alongside this ministry, especially in prayer as we need to acknowledge that God is the Head of His church and therefore to pray to Him for wisdom, guidance, protection, spiritual growth and unity.
  • For God to provide for this ministry financially, through His people, in order to support the various aspects of this ministry, such as: transport costs for the Deaf to get to church and Bible studies; for Bible study material; to cover subsidising camps and the mission trip to Namibia.
  • For the Deaf church to be Spiritually strengthened through the preaching they receive, through Bible studies, through sharing and praying together, through caring for each other and by the support they receive from hearing people.
  • For the hearing people who are already faithfully serving in this ministry and for those who will join this year, that God may strengthen them further for works of service whether it be: learning to sign to the Deaf; regular support at the Sunday morning services; prayer support; financial support; or to take up supportive teaching and interpretive positions.

You might wish to phone or e-mail from time to time for specific requests at different stages during the year.
